One Woman Show: Update 9

I may be on the hunt now for my soulmate, but my first love is now and always will be my little boy.
Because I am tasked with finding someone to share my heart with, while Hayes spends the weekend with his father, I go out to hit the clubs.

This guy might have some potential.

That is until I find out this.

Not going there again after what I went through with Marcus.

Speaking of Marcus, what the hell? He's supposed to be spending time with his son. I do my best to ignore him and the guy making flirty eyes at me is the best distraction.

Start chatting him up, and as my luck would have it, he's not attached!

We exchange numbers before I head home.

Because Hayes is growing fast, I use the money I'd been saving to add an addition to the house. He needs his own space after all. However first night he complains about monsters under the bed. I came to his rescue, but he still decided he'd rather sleep with me. I guess he wasn't quite ready to be in his own room.

While Hayes is at school, Darnell calls and asks if he can come hang out. I of course say yes.

We chat for a little while, then he starts laying on the romance.

Seemed like as good a time as any to go on our first official date.

Oh a whim, I laid one on him. He liked it.

Over all we really enjoyed each other's company.

We had the place to ourselves so I was feeling bold and wanted to try something a little risky.

I decided why not take things to the next level and make us an official couple. He agreed.

We said our goodbyes so I could be home before Hayes returned from school.

The day was here, my little boy was becoming a teen. I got up early to bake his cake.

Marcus came by to spend the day with him.

He made a wish and just like that, my cute little boy was a handsome teen.

Had to make sure I added to my wall of memories with some birthday selfies.

He's a good kid, jumped right in with helping around the house.

I figured it was time for Darnell and Hayes to officially meet so I invited him over before Hayes got home from school.

Hayes came home a little pissy because he had a hard day, but he and Darnell hit it off regardless and I was happy about that.

My relationship with Darnell is going smoothly and I think he might actually be the one.

So here is a comparison shot of Hayes with his parents. He certainly took more after his mother it appears. And the traits he rolled. I kept the first two and crossed out the last since he had his child trait already.

Also here is where Anahi stands in her new aspiration. I took the shot at the wrong time. She and Darnell have had 2 gold dates already.
